Here, the long influence of Ottoman culture can be seen in the colours of the threads and the dress of the Ottoman official on horseback. Festive flower bouquets inside oversized pitchers (jugs), and the official's comical facial expression, invoke the wedding celebration for which this embroidery was made.</p></p>
