<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>A bifolio from a manuscript from Shiraz, c. 1540s. It includes the double-page illumination for the start of the reign of Luhrasp, which is often treated as the main division of the text, especially from the sixteenth century onwards. The illuminated pages were fol. 248v-249r in the original manuscript.</p><p>Part of the bequest of Manuk and Coles, 1948. Reproduced in Brend and Melville, pp. 72-73 (no. 9).</p></p>
