<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>The painting is cropped to remove the text. Museum notes say either Shahnama or Iskandarnama. Text on reverse, when available, would confirm which; but the image suggests a Shahnama as I am not aware of an illustrated Iskandarnama. Possibly from the Khamsa of Nizami.</p></p>
