The Aga Khan folios were described by Anthony Welch, Collection of Islamic Art, vol. I (1972), pp. 67-75, vol. III (1978), p. 44, and in Moya Carey's unpublished catalogue, vol. I (2002), pp. 44-58, 144.</p><p>The manuscript has been the subject of a detailed reconstruction by Shreve Simpson (2000), whose identification of the original folios is followed here; the scenes are ordered in accordance with their sequence in the text.</p><p>See also under 'Dispersed'.</p></p>
