<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Five leaves from the 'Second' Small Shahnama, formerly 2005.1.16-19 (Ir.M.1-1/B) and 2005.1.84-85 (Ir.M. 54-54/A).</p><p>The First and Second 'Small' manuscripts have been discussed in detail by Shreve Simpson, who suggested a date c. 1300 in Baghdad, although the debate still continues over this. The measurements of the folios also vary across the MS and especially the dispersed pages, which have been trimmed, cut, mounted and framed in different ways.</p><p>The pictures are presented here in their order in the text, which is different from the order of their accession number.</p><p>See also under Dispersed mss.</p></p>
