<p style='text-align: justify;'> The second part of the <i>Irupattunālāyirappaṭi</i> of Periyavācāṉpiḷḷai, a commentary on the <i>Tiruvāymoḻi</i> of Nammāḻvār. This text comprises the fourth thousand of the "Four Thousand Divine Compositions" (<i>Nālāyira tivviya pirapantam</i>, commonly referred to also as <i>Divya Prabandham</i>), the anthology of devotional hymns to Tirumāl (i.e. Nārayaṇa or Viṣṇu), composed by the twelve poet saints known as the Āḻvār between the 6th and 10th centuries. Add. 1264 covers the commentary on <i>Tiruvāymoḻi</i> 2.1.1 to 4.5.11. For the other three parts of the commentary, see Add. 1262, 1263 and 1265. The set of manuscripts, written in the Tamil and Grantha scripts, is undated but looks recent and might go back to the 19th century. </p>
