<p style='text-align: justify;'>Prayer-book according to the Provençal rite, late 14th to early 15th century, Sefardi. The book includes piyyuṭim for sabbaths and festivals, the Passover Haggada (hence this manuscript is sometimes known as the Cambridge Catalan Haggada), parašot and hafṭarot for festivals, azharot, and the ʿamida for the Pilgrim Festivals. Though there are few illustrations, the titles and initials are very finely illuminated with gold, red, blue and purple filigrees. Illustrations consist only of the maṣṣa (unleavened bread, <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(140);return false;'>f. 66v</a>) and maror (bitter herb, <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(141);return false;'>f. 67r</a>). Fully vocalised with Tiberian signs; some Judaeo-Arabic in titles. There is an owner's note on the front fly-leaf (אני הצעיר אלהו אשואכי בכר ישראל אשואכי), with other notes of names on ff. <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(23);return false;'>f. 8r</a>, <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(38);return false;'>f. 15v</a>, <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(68);return false;'>f. 30v</a>, <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(127);return false;'>f. 60r</a>, <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(213);return false;'>f. 103r</a>. An effaced note on <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(263);return false;'>f. 128r</a> claims that the text was written for Moses b. Abraham Maymūn. There is a censor's note, written lengthways in the left-hand margin, on f. 92r, the last day of Passover: Rev[isto] p[er] me Antonio Fran[ces]co Enriquez 1687.</p>
