<p style='text-align: justify;'>The manuscript contains the second chapter (<i>pāda</i>) of the first book (<i>adhyāya</i>) of the <i>Tantravārttika</i> by Kumārila Bhaṭṭa, one of the most important commentators on Śabarasvāmin’s <i>Mīmāṃsābhāṣya</i>. This chapter deals in particular with the <i>mīmāṃsaka</i> conception of <i>arthavāda</i>s and <i>mantra</i>s. The readings of this manuscript were not taken into account in the critical edition of this chapter by K. Harikai (2007). </p>
