<p style='text-align: justify;'>The manuscript contains the third chapter (<i>pāda</i>) of the third book (<i>adhyāya</i>) of the <i>Tantravārttika</i> by Kumārila Bhaṭṭa, one of the two most important commentators on Śabarasvāmin’s <i>Mīmāṃsābhāṣya</i>. This chapter deals specifically with the various means of assignment (<i>viniyoga</i>) of subsidiaries to main items in a sacrifice and with their relative strength (<i>bala</i>).
